All sales are final. No returns are accepted unless the product is received in a damaged or faulty condition at the time of delivery. In such cases, only exchange is offered — no monetary refund will be provided.

1. No Return Policy

At SellLocal Online, we operate under a strict no-return policy. Once a product is delivered, it cannot be returned for any of the following reasons:

  • Change of mind or preference
  • Incorrect size or color selection by the buyer
  • Product not matching expectations based on images
  • Delay in delivery (unless the product is damaged)
  • Personal reasons or buyer's circumstances
  • Availability of the same product at a different price elsewhere

2. Exception: Damaged or Faulty Products

The only exception to our no-return policy is when a product is received in a damaged or faulty condition at the time of delivery. In such cases:

Exchange Eligibility Criteria:

  • The product must be damaged, defective, or faulty at the time of delivery
  • The issue must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the product
  • Clear photographs or videos of the damage must be provided as proof
  • The original packaging must be retained
  • The product must not have been used, washed, or altered in any way

3. Exchange Only — No Monetary Refund

Please note that even for damaged or faulty products, we only offer exchange and not a monetary refund. Here's what you need to know:

  • The damaged/faulty product will be exchanged with the same product (same SKU)
  • If the same product is not available, you may choose an alternative product of equal value
  • No cash refund, credit note, or store credit will be issued
  • Exchange is a one-time process; exchanged products cannot be exchanged again

Important: Under no circumstances will a monetary refund be processed. This policy is strictly followed without exceptions.

4. How to Request an Exchange

If you receive a damaged or faulty product, follow these steps to request an exchange:

  1. Report Immediately: Contact the seller within 24 hours of delivery via WhatsApp (using the same chat where you placed the order)
  2. Provide Evidence: Share clear photographs or videos showing the damage or defect. Include images of the packaging as well
  3. Wait for Confirmation: The seller will verify your claim and confirm the exchange within 48 hours
  4. Return the Product: Once approved, return the damaged product in its original packaging as instructed by the seller
  5. Receive Exchange: The replacement product will be dispatched after receiving the damaged item

5. Non-Exchangeable Items

The following categories of products are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances:

  • Perishable goods (food items, flowers, etc.)
  • Personalized or customized products
  • Intimate apparel and innerwear
  • Products marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Exchangeable"
  • Digital products or downloadable content
  • Products with tampered or missing tags/labels

6. Seller Responsibility

All sellers on SellLocal Online are required to:

  • Ensure products are packed securely to prevent damage during transit
  • Provide accurate product descriptions and images
  • Respond to exchange requests within 48 hours
  • Process valid exchange requests promptly and professionally
  • Bear the cost of exchange for legitimately damaged products

7. Platform Limitation of Liability

SellLocal Online acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers. The responsibility for product quality, packaging, delivery, and exchange lies with the individual seller. While we facilitate the connection, we are not directly liable for the products sold. We encourage buyers to communicate directly with sellers for any exchange-related queries.
